uraniferous minerals in beryl-bearing pegmatite intruding calcsilicate.
Deposit Description
RAVEN HILL, located 1.7 km south of Cathedral Rock, with a pegmatite worked for feldspar in an open cut to 20 m deep. It was an important producer of microcline perthite. There was another pegmatite some 180 m to the SW on which workings were opened. The pegmatite had trace malachite staining associated with iron oxide on joints.
